Non-Resident Full-Time Faculty – Professor in Healthcare Management

About the Role

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) seeks a Non-Resident Full-Time Faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor in Healthcare Management. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the University’s mission to deliver learner-centric, high-quality smart education. This position involves teaching, research, content development, and academic mentorship within the School of Health Sciences. The faculty member will design and deliver innovative online courses, contribute to scholarly research, and engage in institutional and community service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, an established international reputation in Healthcare Management, and expertise in smart learning methodologies and online education platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• check_circle Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses using online learning platforms and smart technologies
• check_circle Design, develop, and deliver e-content and course materials in Healthcare Management
• check_circle Advise, mentor, and supervise learners in their academic study plans and research projects
• check_circle Supervise master’s theses and capstone projects
• check_circle Develop and conduct professional short courses, workshops, and training programs for targeted groups and professional communities
• check_circle Publish high-quality research in Scopus-indexed journals and contribute to the advancement of the discipline
• check_circle Prepare and submit research grant applications to support scholarly activities
• check_circle Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities as required by the University

Qualifications

• check_circle PhD in Healthcare Management or a closely related field from a top 200 university
• check_circle Demonstrated teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• check_circle Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals of international standing
• check_circle Proven experience in developing course content for online and smart learning environments
• check_circle Experience in advising and mentoring learners and supervising master’s dissertations
• check_circle Ability to design and deliver professional short courses in both Arabic and English
• check_circle Sound administrative experience within academic settings
• check_circle Preference for candidates with experience in online learning and international academic exposure
• check_circle Excellent proficiency in English
