About the Role

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), located in Dubai, UAE, seeks exceptional scholars for full-time faculty positions in Strategic Management at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. As the first accredited smart/online learning university in the region, HBMSU is dedicated to advancing innovative online education and fostering a learner-centric environment. Successful candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a fully online format, contribute to the development of engaging digital course content, and maintain an active research agenda aligned with AACSB standards. Faculty are expected to participate in on-campus meetings, events, and academic service activities, ensuring a strong presence within the university community. Key Responsibilities

• check_circle Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management and related areas using HBMSU’s interactive smart learning platforms.
• check_circle Design, develop, and update online course materials incorporating emerging trends such as digital transformation, Quality 4.0, and the experience economy.
• check_circle Conduct and publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals, applying multidisciplinary approaches to address contemporary management challenges.
• check_circle Supervise Ph.D. dissertations and mentor students in research methodologies and ethical academic practices.
• check_circle Develop and deliver professional workshops and seminars in quality management and strategic leadership.
• check_circle Contribute to program accreditation processes, academic governance, and university outreach initiatives.
• check_circle Engage actively in campus life through committee participation, community initiatives, and academic events.

Qualifications

• check_circle Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Quality Management, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABD candidates near completion may be considered).
• check_circle Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and engage learners in online undergraduate and graduate programs.
• check_circle Strong record of research publications or clear evidence of research potential in high-impact journals.
• check_circle Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital pedagogy, and smart learning methodologies.
• check_circle Excellent communication and academic writing skills in English.
